Macbeth

Tony and BAFTA Award winner Ralph Fiennes  (The English Patient) and Olivier Award winner Indira Varma (Game of Thrones) star in this megawatt production of William Shakespeare’s most poetic analysis of evil is dominated by unbridled ambition, supernatural forces, and murder. After being informed by three witches that he will rule Scotland, Macbeth (Fiennes) schemes with his wife (Varma) to assassinate the king, which might win him the throne, but might also bring about his own demise. Directed by STC’s artistic director Simon Godwin, this production offers a new interpretation of the ageless tale.
