Comedian Greta Titelman has her hand in every fire, bringing her signature cheery sarcasm to all her acting, writing, and podcasting projects. In an article she penned for Document Journal, she offers foolproof techniques for achieving an ideal physique, which, of course, means “arms like Michelle Obama and abs like Zac Efron.” Accompanying photos showed her platinum hair swept into a ponytail, two family-size jars of Rao’s tomato sauce propped in each hand. In her stand-up, she shares personal stories of bad dates and true love. While recounting a surfing date gone wrong for Comedy Central, she admits, to uproarious laughter, “I’m not one of those women who looks hot when I get wet. I become Christopher Walken.” As an actor, she can be seen in Season 5 of the cult-favorite show Search Party, starring alongside Alia Shawkat and Jeff Goldblum, as well as another beloved comedy show, Los Espookys. And in between it all, she hosts the podcast Senior Superlatives, where she invites notably non-awkward guests slash tweenhood survivors like Cheryl Hines and Bowen Yang to chat about all things high school, from epic pranks to fashion—shall we say—choices. Greta Titelman performs at 7:30 and 10 p.m. on April 14 and 15 at the Comedy Loft. dccomedyloft.com. $25.
