Rethink artistic techniques and the relationship between machines and human at ARTECHOUSE DC’s newest immersive exhibit. Go inside the artistic journey propelled by classical piano and painting techniques to explore various artist of the current century. During your tour, you’ll be presented with a series of audiovisual paintings created by Quayola, the artist, using algorithms. “This exhibition aims to blur the boundaries between image and sound, presenting a series of immersive audiovisual installations along with motorized pianos,” says Quayola. “Transient does not generate finite music and paintings, rather it presents the impermanence that lies behind its algorithmic potential.”
ARTECHOUSE has instated the city’s vaccine mandate, as of Jan. 15.
