An event every week that begins at 7:00 PM on Thursday, repeating until October 28th, 2021
Towson University’s Asian Arts & Culture Center hosts two nights of storytelling focused on common humanity and shared COVID-19 experiences with readings from creators from Maryland, California, India and the Philippines.
On Oct. 21, performers include Hanns Scheewe of Tandag City, Philippines; Miyo Yamauchi of Los Angeles; Anila Kumari of Silver Spring; Renu Narayan of Chennai, India, and Maria Solita Zaldivar-Guzman of Aklan, Philippines. Oct. 28 performers are Rockville’s Hyunsuk Erickson, Golpo Nodi of Kolkata, India; Aya from the Philippines, and the multi-person performance from Manila.
