Heavy Metal Parking Lot 35th Anniversary

Raise a Natty Boh in honor of Jeff Krulik and John Heyn’s acclaimed documentary Heavy Metal Parking Lot, which captures a pre-Judas Priest show tailgate in Landover, Maryland’s Capital Centre parking lot in on May 31, 1986. It only runs 16 minutes, but it tells the story of the time from big hair to vibrant prints, air guitar to flowing beer, and, ultimately a passion for Priest. Krulik and Heyn will be there for a discussion following the film and then JUDAS PRIESTESS—the all women tribute band to JP—plays.
