Known for bold and bright mixed-media work, Anna U Davis’ new show investigates the concept of “diffusion of responsibility”—i.e. when a person decides others are responsible for taking necessary action—in regards to pressing global issues. Davis is a native of Sweden and moved to D.C. in the 1990s.
