Alma W. Thomas: Everything is Beautiful Community Celebration

FreePart of the ongoing, citywide celebration of Alma Thomas’ life and creative endeavors, the National Gallery hosts a variety of self-guided activities and exhibits such as a horticultural display replicating Pansies in Washington (1969) and a display of local artists paying homage to Thomas. There will also be swag, including art kits with a coloring book featuring local pieces, supplies, and a cutout doll of Alma Thomas designed by children’s book illustrator Brittany Jackson.
