City Paper is not for tourists
A recent visitor to the 600 Restaurant at the Watergate reports: “The food was quite basic without any special flavors.” Among her complaints: “The quality of the lamb rack was good [and] tender but did not have much flavor,” the “[p]rofiteroles seemed soggy,” and the bread was “cold.”
“The server was very nice and polite and madeus feel comfortable,” the rater concludes. “The restaurant is very convenient if [you’re] going to a show at the Kennedy Center, but I will not go back.” (To read her entire comment, and to get other opinions, click here.)
