At 1 p.m. tune your radio dials to 88.5 FM. In an unusual nod toward a younger demo, Kojo Nnamdi will be interviewing semi-local/worldwide indie rock niceguy Ted Leo. Leo, along with his band the Pharmacists, recently released a shimmering new album entitled Living with the Living. Expect to hear Leo perform a cut or two from the album, which was produced by Fugazi drummer and documentary filmmaker Brendan Canty. And expect to hear Leo astutely deconstruct Bush’s Iraq policy, pump up DIY culture, and swear his love for Thin Lizzy records.
