Vidalia has closed temporarily following a water-main break at about 11:30 last night, according to chef/owner Jeffrey Buben. “We had about six inches of water here,” he says.
“Hopefully we’ll be open by Wednesday or Thursday,” Buben adds. “We’re working round the clock at this point.”
“Oh, I don’t even wanna know,” Buben said when asked about the cost of the damage, “but it’s gonna be expensive.”
