Fred Hiatt argues for keeping D.C.’s school voucher program—-a Republican experiment that got it’s initial start here. He cites studies that show most parents had positive experiences. Not a shocker. But he adds: “Mayor Adrian Fenty rightly is focused on reforming the public schools, with their 55,000 pupils. The small voucher program can’t, and wasn’t intended to, lessen the importance of improving those.”
