Dan Snyder’s influence abounds. Even though Snyder’s run with Six Flags has been a flop thus far, other football guys are looking into following him into the theme park business.
Jed York, director of strategic planning for the San Francisco 49ers, has been looking at theme parks in the Bay Area as potential sites for the team’s next stadium. Thus far, York has discussed the matter with Cedar Fair, which owns the nearby Great Adventure park. But in a recent interview, York said the 49ers might even be interested in dealing with Snyder, who oversees a Six Flags outpost there.
A word of advice to Snyder before he signs anything here: This is the same outfit that sent you Brandon Lloyd.
