So I was going to blog about how it’s refreshing that Adrian Fenty is firing people. (In the old world, it nearly took proof that incompetence killed someone to warrant a D.C. firing). Then I was thinking about critiquing Les Carpenter’s story about New York Giant and Howard football player Geoffrey Pope.

But then, holy shit: Roger Federer, the unchallenged, greatest ever, unflappable, unbeatable, amazing Youtube-video-providing tennis ace of all times goes down in Australia in straight sets to some guy whose name I don’t particularly feel like checking right now.

This is sick. And wrong. And it unnecessarily delays Federer’s passing of slacker Pete Sampras’ all-time majors record.
