City Paper is not for tourists
*Governor Eliot Spitzer‘s hooker, aka “Kristen,” aka Ashley Alexandra Dupré (the name she goes by now), aka Ashley Youmans (the name on her birth certificate) has been discovered. The New York Times, with major help from Dupré’s MySpace page, reports the story.
*Also in the New York Times:Dina Matos McGreevey, wife of former New Jersey governor James McGreevey, tells everyone to lay off Silda Wall Spitzer.
*Resignations are so hot these days! First Samantha Power, one of Barack Obama‘s advisors, departs his campaign. Then, Spitzer and the whole taking responsibility for his conduct thing occurs. And then yesterday, Geraldine Ferraro, quit her position on Hillary Clinton‘s finance committee.
*Yikes. Gawker shows Keith Olbermann’s rant against Ferraro’s statement and Clinton’s reaction. Not pretty.
*And now for something lighter…and really salty, cold, sort of weird, and “really good and really bad,” according to 12-year-old Tommy Rizzoli. It’s a video showing a bunch of kids testing out the Pickle Sickle! It’s hilarious—It might be my favorite video ever on Washingtonpost.com.
