The other day I posted something in this space about Caron Butler’s birthday party.

I then quickly went over to the Sports Bog, the best blog ever ever, and saw that an item on the same thing was up. Only, my time slug made it look like I’d put mine up a little before Dan Steinberg put up his.

That wasn’t right. The City Desk clock was about an hour behind. I’ve said nothing for two days, letting the world think Dan Steinberg posted his Caron Butler Party in my Caron Butler Party’s wake.

But inside, I knew the truth: NOBODY OUT-BLOGS DAN STEINBERG!
