It’s a tough time of year for NFL reporters. No more games, free agency has calmed—sure, there are some pre-draft workouts going on, but they’re boring.

So the Examiner‘s John Keim does what he can. Today, that means dredging up a compelling-for-this-time-of-year story on the adjustments that Redskins linebacker London Fletcher will be making as he moves from defensive coach Gregg Williams to new defensive guy Greg Blache.

When pressed on the transition, Fletcher gives this money quote for ‘Skins fans:

“There will be some things that stay the same but I’m sure he’ll implement some things he would like to do. We haven’t gotten into that part of it yet. But we know coach Blache. We know what to expect so from that standpoint it’s at least minimal change. Guys are happy about that part of it.”
