Good-lookin’ Washington Post Food section this morning. There it was, splayed out on the breakfast table, competing against the front section, Sports, Metro, and Style for my time. It won, thanks to the great graphic of the cow, and to this piece by a food writer fantasizing about catching typos on menus. I share Jane Black‘s obsession, though I wouldn’t have been quite as easy as she on restaurateurs who don’t speak English as a first language. Look, it’s a menu—how hard is it to get something right one time? Not!
