Columnist Robert Novak has a brain tumor, the Chicago Sun-Times, his employer, is reporting (via Romenesko).

The tumor, details on which were not given, was diagnosed Sunday. This, of course, raises the question—-was it related to his striking a pedestrian last Wednesday. The Sun-Times article says only this:

Asked whether the accident might have been linked to the columnist’s medical condition, Novak’s reporter, Charlie Spiering, said today, “It’s really too early to tell.”

This news makes LL feel guilty, but not too guilty, about making fun of Novak’s driving on the radio on Friday.
