A MetroAccess driver diagnosed with TB in mid-October prompted Metro to contact more than 700 people the driver had possibly picked up, dropped off, or worked with from April until his diagnosis.

Metro says it released names and phone numbers of people “at risk” to the D.C. Department of Health’s TB Control Program. The program requested Metro’s involvement to find those exposed and has been working with health departments in Virginia and Maryland to reach out to people there who’ve come into contact with the driver and should be tested.
