Penn Quarter Living spots some workers carting away news boxes probably because of the inauguration prep: “Early this morning, a Penske truck pulled up to the Gallery Place metro stop at 7th & H St NW and out came 2 workers with dollies. We thought it was a food delivery truck, but instead of walking into a restaurant, the workers walked towards the rows of news boxes that populate the intersection. They took a few news boxes away. There is no doubt that this was done to clear the sidewalks for a large amount of pedestrians expected during the inauguration next week.”
