Says Godfrey: “Someone made a joke about exchanging sexual favors for getting ahead in the line, and the MPD guys working crowd control have been making jokes about that. They’re no help whatsoever.”

Original post: Sarah Godfrey is at the end of a very long line for the Silver gate, where there are lots of police out.

Says Godfrey: “Things got a little crazy over at 3rd & Independence. A few people were jostled getting off the Metro between 7:15-7:30 a.m.” The stampeding crowd is being met by emergency vehicles, though Godfrey says she didn’t see anyone get hurt.
