“D1 STATES WHILE TRAVELLING S/B ON BROADBRANCH RD NW, D1 WAS STRUCK BY D2 WHO WAS TRAVELLING W/B ON RITTENHOUSE ST NW. D-2 STATED WHILE HE WAS TRAVELLING W/B ON RITTENHOUSE ST. THAT HE NEVER SAW D-1. THE UNDERSIGNED OFFICER COULDN’T DETERMINE WHO WAS AT FAULT THEREFORE, NO NOI’S WERE ISSUED.”

D1’s spokesperson told the Washington Post earlier in the week that D2 apparently went through a stop sign and pulled in front of the mayor’s vehicle. D2 does not have a spokesperson, and could not be reached for comment.
