Metropolitan Police Department Chief Cathy Lanier says that a new enforcement program will allow for smaller, “easier-to-deploy” cameras that will also look for violations where cars fail to yield to pedestrians in crosswalks. There’s Hope in Rosslyn! Just as there are still some sore feelings following the ousting of a food cart from the corner of Wilson Boulevard and N. Lynn Street, a new food truck—”offering their assortment of cheese steaks and Spiedies—cubed meat marinated in herbs and spices, cooked over a flame and then sandwiched with toppings in between a submarine roll”— pulled up into the Arlington County neighborhood’s concrete-and-glass canyons. +2
