Here’s a photo of the “locker room” used every day by Friendship Collegiate’s highly rated football team.

It wasn’t built as a locker room, obviously. It’s intended to be an industrial storage bin. But this bin, plopped on the grounds of Fort Mahan Park, where the Knights practice, is what the Knights use to dress out. It’s the best they’ve got.

No, really.

Read all about it here.

Friendship opens the season with tons of expectations this Sunday on the road against Taft, a Cincinnati school.  The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Even more exciting for the players on Friendship’s stacked roster: If only for a day, they’ll have lockers in their locker room. And ventilation! Running water even!

How great is that?
