DCentric’s Elahe Izadi got a chance to query prominent native Washingtonian, conservative, and champion of white resentment Pat Buchanan about D.C.’s unemployment rate. As we know, the poorest, blackest wards are facing Depression-era rates of unemployment. But Buchanan has a solution!

“One thing I would do is stop immigration into the country until all unemployment is down to 6 percent,” he told Izadi. “We’ve got to start putting our own people first.”

Needless to say, Buchanan is probably not a big fan of Mayor Vince Gray’s executive order to prevent MPD from sharing immigration info with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
