Seven of eight activists arrested in April on civil disobedience charges were found guilty today of blocking traffic; one was acquitted. They were part of a group of people—-including Mayor Vince Gray and several councilmembers—-who were arrested in statehood protests in the spring.

According to DCist, the seven found guilty will have to pay a fine.
