Okay, so even though I think this weather is pretty baller, it’s still winter and a cold snap could have some negative side effects for any plants that are blooming in confusion. WAMU checks in with research geneticist at the National Arboretum, Margaret Pooler, who says, “Some of the more sensitive plants might get some freeze damage or get cold stress depending on how long the cold spell lasts.”
