Trains, buses, Bikeshare—-is there any form of transportation Hurricane Sandy will leave for people foolhardy enough to go out in this storm? Apparently not.

In an email to customers this afternoon, car-sharing service car2go announced that no new rentals could start after 7 p.m. tonight. Additionally, no cars can be abandoned in the following flood-prone zones:

  • Southwest Waterfront
  • Bloomingdale
  • Georgetown Waterfront
  • Anacostia Riverfront
  • Florida Ave.
  • Capitol Riverfront
