Hurricane Sandy wasn’t too bad in Washington—-even Bloomingdale got off easy. But if your home was damaged, Austin, Texas-based start-up Sparefoot wants to help.

The company, which collects self-storage unit listings, is offering a $100 voucher for a month of free storage space in the Washington region for Sandy victims. To qualify, just book storage through the company, then fill out this form about how the hurricane affected you.

“If there’s a storage facility that managed to avoid damage, that can be the perfect solution for these victims,” says Rachel Greenfield, a marketing manager at Sparefoot.

In addition to Maryland, the District, and Virginia, the company is also offering the deal for residents in Connecticut, Delaware, Massachussetts, North Carolina, New Hamphsire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.
