Time to announce tonight’s least surprising news: President Barack Obama has won D.C.’s three electoral votes. NBC News called the District for Obama as soon as the polls closed at 8 p.m.

That puts Obama a mere 267 electoral votes away from a second term. (It also continues an uninterrupted streak of Democratic victories here since D.C. got the right to vote in presidential elections in 1964.)
