NPR’s warehouse sale at its Massachusetts Avenue NW headquarters this weekend is becoming a bona fide public radio festival, judging by the recently released full schedule. You might wonder, Why does a merchandise sale need a schedule? Exactly.

As if the possibility of scoring discounted Car Talk gear and bumping into Carl Kasell wasn’t enough for public radio fans, the warehouse sale will also feature meet-and-greets with NPR hosts and a live show of the network’s Pop Culture Happy Hour (which features City Paper contributor Trey Graham), according to the new schedule.

Speaking of Kasell, his own activities at the sale are a little less routine. While other NPR personalities are on a strict one-hour appearance plan, the schedule only says that Kasell “will likely make an appearance at the sale.” You can’t predict Carl Kasell!

Bargain-hunting NPR heads should head to 635 Massachusetts Ave. NW between 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for the sale. Check out the full schedule after the jump.
