Drinking at Nationals Park is a good way to avoid actually watching baseball. But that blessed escape will still be pricey this year, with CNN Money declaring that beer prices at Nationals Park are some of the highest in the league. D.C. Sports Bog compares that to the original prices at the stadium:

As you can see, domestic drafts are $8.25, premium drafts and domestic bottles are $9, and premium bottles are $9.75.

When the stadium opened five years ago, premium bottles were $6.50, and domestic drafts, premium drafts and domestic bottles were all $7.50.

That’s 10 percent yearly inflation on the premium bottles! Guess this just means more pre-gaming in the post-apocalyptic shipyard known as the Bullpen.

Correction: This post originally stated that beer prices are up at Nationals Park this year. In fact, we haven’t been able to confirm what the beer prices were last year.
