Bikers and tourists, rejoice. The stretch of Pennsylvania Avenue NW in front of the White House has reopened to foot and bike traffic after being shut down following last week’s Boston Marathon bombings.
The road was closed due to an “abundance of caution,” according to Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie.
