Washington tour bus company DC Party Shuttle’s name suggests that your time on the bus will be fun, like a party. But according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the real party on Party Shuttle was going on in the driver’s seat.

Federal investigators shut down Party Shuttle today, declaring the company “an imminent hazard to public safety.” Along with a sloppy maintenance program that left vehicles that mechanics declared out of service still available for tours, the company had another problem: its drivers.

One driver reportedly tested positive for drugs but was allowed to stay on the road. The company also allegedly failed to make sure its drivers weren’t drunk or high on the job, something the FMCSA says the company will have to fix before returning to the roads.
