The shooting this morning in Southeast killed 12 people and closed down much of the area around the Navy Yard. With the Metropolitan Police Department having declared one shooter dead, many travel restrictions are now being lifted. Here’s what remains closed:

• Both sides of the 11th Street Bridge are closed. The inbound side had been shut down earlier in the day, and the District Department of Transportation said on Twitter just before 3:30 p.m. that the outbound side has since been closed as well. If you need to cross the Anacostia River, for now, take South Capitol Street.
• Parts of 8th and N streets, in addition to much of M Street SE, are closed.
• Metrobuses are experiencing “residual 20-minute delays,” according to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. At least four buses were employed to shuttle witnesses away from the Navy Yard this morning.

As for Metrorail: “As of right now, there’s no impact to Metro rail service,” a Metro spokeswoman tells City Desk.
