RECENT CITY PAPER STORIES TO HELP YOU MAKE SENSE OF YOUR DAY:

GOP-Mex: Republican’s secret meeting in Tortilla Coast is just the latest example of the Grand Old Party loving Tex-Mex food in the District.

Big Fail: Big Chair Cafe Bar & Grill, Anacostia’s only real sit-down restaurant, closed Monday, likely because of an internal dispute.

Flip Flop: Once a victim of split voting himself, former Councilmember Sekou Biddle contributed to the campaigns of both Ward 1 challengers Bryan Weaver and Brianne Nadeau (who risk split voting each other out of the race.) But then he showed his superior support for Weaver and asked for his contribution to Nadeu to be returned.
