Do you have a plan to vote?
Let us tell you the information you need to register and cast a ballot in D.C.
Stadium Club is free to reopen, just a day after the D.C. government seized the Queens Chapel Road NE strip club over the more than $100,000 in unpaid taxes owed by its co-owner James “Tru” Redding‘s restaurant TruOrleans. The D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue announced today that the tax debt has been settled and the club is free to reopen.
According to Redding, Stadium Club will be open for business tonight.
The announcement means that the scandal-plagued TruOrleans could technically also reopen, but Redding tells City Desk that’s not going to happen. “I am out of the restaurant and club business,” he says.
Stadium Club is currently in the process of being sold and, according to Redding, the license merely needs to be transferred over to the new owners.
So uncancel your weekend plans: The party is back on at Stadium Club.
