Legalize It, Maybe in November: A ballot initiative to legalize possession of small amounts of marijuana for personal use could be on November’s ballot, after D.C. elections officials decided it didn’t conflict too much with federal drug laws to go before voters. Now all advocates have to do is get 22,000 signatures or so. But surely in a city of more than 600,000 people, there must be 22,000 registered voters who want legal pot? +3
