A D.C. Diamond cab crashed into the Inter-American Development Bank building on the corner of 13th Street and New York Avenue NW late this morning.

Two people have been transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, according to Timothy Wilson, a spokesman for the D.C. Fire and EMS Department. He did not say whether the cab driver was one of the people transported to the hospital, or if there was a passenger in the cab at the time of the accident.

Rescue workers are currently on the scene.
