Dozens of demonstrators marched down H Street NE Saturday night in response to the August 9 slaying of Ferguson, Mo., teenager Michael Brown by a police officer there. The marchers called for police departments around the country to reform their law-enforcement practices, and for the arrest of Darren Wilson, the officer who shot Brown. They marched from Union Station past the end of H Street and back again, slowing traffic and blocking intersections. Here are a few of the things I saw there.
