Looks like that how-to-use-the-streetcar video from last week was a teaser for today: Mayor Muriel Bowser says the first day of passenger service on those red H Street–Benning Road vehicles will be Saturday, Feb. 27, via an official tweet.

But will the long-promised, $200 million project encounter any snares along the way? From that video:
Update 1:50 p.m.
The mayor’s office has released additional information on the streetcar’s hours of operation (N.B.—no Sunday service):
- Monday-Thursday: 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.
- Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
- Holidays: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- No Sunday service
The streetcar will run for 2.4 miles from Union Station to Oklahoma Avenue NE with eight stops, per the District Department of Transportation:
