Metro’s Acting Chief Safety Officer Lou Brown has submitted his resignation, a spokesperson confirmed.

No word yet on Brown’s reason(s) for leaving the transit agency. He replaced James Dougherty, who also resigned, last year. Metro has been searching for someone to head its safety management for months.
