If you asked, “What is Jeopardy!?” congrats! The Alex-Trebek-hosted quiz show will begin filming in the District as part of a “special election-year trip to America’s capital” next month. As a result, D.C. officials say residents should expect the following street closures around DAR Constitution Hall, at 1776 D St. NW:
- April 3 to 4, 2016 from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.—D Street NW, from 17th Street to 18th Street NW, will be closed
- April 8, 2016 from 4:30 p.m. through April 13, 2016 at 11:59 p.m.—D Street NW, from 17thStreet to 18th Street NW, will be closed
- April 9, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.—C Street NW, from 17th Street to 18th Street NW, will be closed
- April 10, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.—C Street NW, from 17th Street to 18th Street NW, will be closed
- April 12 to 13, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.—C Street NW, from 17th Street to 18thStreet NW, will be closed
- April 14, 2016 from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.—C Street NW, from 17th Street to 18th Street NW, will be closed
The concentrated closures aren’t likely to disrupt traffic as much as the Nuclear Security Summit occurring currently at the Convention Center. Still, they’ll extend over three Jeopardy! events: Power Players Week, the Teachers Tournament, and the Teen Tournament. For the former, notable notables will be competing:
