A person who chased after a group of bikers along the Metropolitan Branch Trail after one of them allegedly hit him was robbed and assaulted, D.C. police say.

“An unknown suspect struck the victim while riding a mountain bike,” an MPD release explains of the incident that occurred around 4:50 p.m. on March 29. “After the victim confronted the suspect, the suspect and approximately 14 others assaulted the victim, took his cell phone, then fled the scene.”

Officers recorded the offense as having taken place in the 1900 block of 5th Street NE and are looking for six persons of interest. You can watch a video of the bikers flying by the victim below:
