It turns out that TV shows inspire bands to write songs just as much as they inspire the rest of us to sit on our asses. In this week’s One Track Mind, the beatin’s describe some of the inspiration for its new cowboyesque EP: the HBO western Deadwood.
“We were so impressed with the writing and the themes—-how people make order out of disorder and create their own sense of morality when it seemingly doesn’t exist,” says band member Carole Greenwood.
