That’s what Metro Weekly is reporting. At Sunday’s Black Pride concert—-which Wale backed out of last week, setting off accusations of homophobia—-the D.C. rapper won’t be performing a full set and he won’t be taking a fee. Instead, D.C. Black Pride spokesperson Earl Fowkes says Wale will “make a guest appearance and a comment about the situation and we felt like that was appropriate.” J. Holiday, who stepped in to take Wale’s place, will still perfrom a full set.
