Good morning, everyone! There’s a heat advisory in town, but good news, it’ll only be 100 degrees today! And it’s Wednesday, which means it’s almost Friday.

If you’re feeling the heat enough to hang outside today, “Yoga in the Park” is happening tonight in Dupont Circle. (If you’re into that kind of thing, it’s not too late to join the DC Yoga 30-day Challenge!) Otherwise, enjoy the sweltering sun at the NoMa’s Summer Screen. Woody Allen‘s Sleeper, a love story about two people who hate each other (what else is new?) 200 years in the future. On the bright side, you probably won’t have any trouble finding space at these outdoor events tonight—-unless most people in this city enjoy melting. I’d rather be making up tomato recipes or watching Grown Ups.

“Telling stories: Norman Rockwell from the Collections of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg,” opened at the Smithsonian American Art Museum earlier this week. WaPo‘sBlake Gopnik wrote a great take-down over the weekend:

In ads and magazine covers, on calendars and Green Stamps books — on any surface that took ink, for any client who could afford his fees — Rockwell sold us the vision of America as a place where troubles are never more than “scrapes” and flaws are always “foibles.””

Eminem dropped his latest album, Recovery, last month, after a 3-year hiatus. It’s damn good to see him back–at the very least, the album is better than Drake’s. Recommended tracks: “Cinderella Man,” “Love the Way You Lie,” and “You’re Never Over.”

In other news, Titanic to be rereleased in 3D on the anniversary of the ship’s sinking. Damn, it’s been a 100 years already? Also, what is up with everything on 3D these days? I thought the 21st century was about innovation–you’d think we would’ve moved past having to wear paper glasses to films.
