In my morning roundup today, I briefly wondered aloud whether the Arnold Palmers the Phillips Collection will be handing out tonight for free are alcoholic. (Although, by definition, the drink’s not.) The museum’s Cecilia Wagner clarifies via e-mail:

To clear things up, the Arnold Palmers are non-alcoholic. It was a tough call, but  we went for keeping it all-ages. We’ll bring you some liquor-fueled-arts-appreciation in August though, with five weeks of Phillips after 5! Stay tuned for a media advisory next week.

Pity. But like I wrote in the round-up, this week marked the start of Capital Fringe, whose entertainment is just as booze-soaked as Palace of Wonders’, and often just as bawdy.
