Most weeks, Music Roundup curates your best options for the weekend, followed by—-natch—-the rest. We’re flipping the script this week, and highlighting a few acts we would usually suggest you avoid.
The Rest of Friday

How do you feel about Michael Buble? Not great, I’m guessing. Well, David Choi falls somewhere between a less showy Buble and Jason Mraz at his most sanguine/fedora-clad (“We’ll Make it Last All Afternoon”). Apparently he’s a big deal in YouTube coverland—-but his versions of other people’s songs are, on the whole, a lot less egregious than his anthem “That Girl.” Luckily for you, his show at Jammin Java has sold out.
The Rest of Saturday:
Neon Hitch will soon be another Lollapalooza Cinderella story, much like Gaga and Ke$ha before her. If this London native becomes the next big thing, it’ll be because she sounds like a cross between those too stars.  E! and other celebrity-news juggernauts will recycle the following facts:  Neon Hitch is indeed her real name, she grew up in a gypsy caravan, and she lived with La Winehouse during one of her many homeless periods. With Viking and Powerlaces  at Jammin Java 10 p.m. $10.

Super Diamond. $22. 8 pm doors. 9:30 Club

The Rest of Sunday:
The Halloween Hootenanny featuring Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper. With Black Label Society. Clutch. Children of Bodom. Murderdolls. 2Cents. Half Pint Brawlers. Seriously consider checking out this show and definitely consider participating in the costume contest. Best Costume wins two lawn tickets to every Merriweather Post Pavilion show for the 2011 season. If you know what’s good for you, suit up. $40-$75.
