So, have you heard The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is taping shows next week at Sidney Harman Hall ahead of Ironicpalooza or whatever the big Stewart/Colbert mashup on Oct. 30 is called? Well, apparently Stewart landed some big guests, notably President Obama, who will appear on The Daily Show next Wednesday. Ed Henry of CNN tweeted it first, TBD’s Ryan Kearney reports, but if it’s topping Mike Allen‘s Playbook this morning, I guess it’s confirmed.

Kearney, also TBD’s Chief Robot Correspondent, figured out the super-secret plot of Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Apparently some shit blows up (again), the Decepticons get revived (again) and the fate of the world rests in the hands of coffee-thrower and Megan Fox new girl. How did Kearney figure all this out? This is what happens when someone posts the summary of the tie-in novel on Amazon nine months before the movie comes out.

I had a brief interest in Ben Folds back in middle school. Hell, he headlined (with Beck) the first concert I ever went to at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Upstate New York. Last night Folds is promoted his new album Lonely Avenue written with Nick Hornby at Sixth and I Historic Synagogue.
